knit imitates life.
Karen Alfke sent me this after seeing the previous graying post. It is a design she and I are working on together.
Obviously this has been brewing for awhile.
ooooo … ahhhh … pretty! Can’t wait to see what it is!
Synchronicity is nice, and that is gorgeous!
Love love love!!
Brewing, yes. It’s been so fun to see how the tones of this yarn change in all light conditions. In the evening, it’s raven black, with just a shimmer on top that hints of something lighter…
Then during the daytime, out come the greens! and blues! and it’s the most perfect, smoky gray you can imagine.
Thanks for dying it, T. It’s been such, such fun. Lucky me to have such a big expanse of it to knit!
I knit lots of Karen’s designs so eagerly look forward to seeing this completed. And I’m a sucker for gray. What is that yarn?
How perfectly serendipitous.
Looks like a newly planted field to these midwest eyes. Nothing green showing yet but freshly turned earth.
OMG but it’s awesome! LOVE!
Wow, it looks like a perfectly planted field as seen from the air!!!
