Limited Time Special: De-Vine Yarn

Our DeVine yarn is on special for holiday knitting. A big soft and bulky

yarn that knits up quick and cozy.  Speaking of quick, we’ve two, fun and wonderful

designs for our beloved DeVine. Shannon Squire’s Peregrine Shawlette and Star Athena’s Mystery Cowl KAL. As fun to knit as they are going to be to wear!

Knitty Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Colorway

As most of you know, this year marks Knitty’s 10th Anniversary. Amy and Jillian decided to commemorate the occasion, with what they do best, the paring of designers and dyers. I was honored

to be asked by Amy to come up with a colorway that I felt translated what Knitty

is to me. I designed a special Knitty’s Rainbow in honor of all the knitters, designers, yarn makers and dyers, color and texture that is so wonderfully held in Knitty’s embrace. I then dowsed it in the lovely brown Amy so loves.

The talented and ever clever, Kirsten Kapur, took our rainbow to heart and created

Fractured Light, a stunning mitten and hat duo in our Marine Silk

Sport. A soft silky lighthearted knit celebration.

2013 Rockin’ Sock Club

The Rockin’ Sock Club

is headed into its 8th year this January!

Our heels are still turning and our gussets are, well… gusseting!

We’re super excited to start our eighth year and have some excitement up our cuffs.

Gift certificates will be available to purchase for holiday gifting the week after Thanksgiving.

Twist Collective Features

The Twist Collective Winter issue is out and it is chock full of wonderful

designs.

Our yarn is featured in two of them.

The first is Celestarium by Audry Nicklin, a stunningly magical circle shawl that is a constellation chart with Polaris, the North Star, as the center. It uses our Seduction in the colorway Haida and is all kinds of celestial goodness!

The second design is Barnsley by Mari Chiba, a cozy cardigan knit in one piece from the

bottom up. It uses the new Sport weight of our Gaea yarnin the colorway Marina. Looks to be one of those fun about town sweaters.

Thanksgiving at Blue Moon

The barn will be closed on the Thanksgiving weekend so we can all spend time with

our families and friends. You can still order yarn and

email us if you have any questions or need our attention.
