Dear Steven
Of course I saw your see your tweet request silly! Yesterday was a perfect wintery day, clear and cold with just enough wind to keep things interesting. So… the girls ( and MacKenzie) and I went for a little walk. We took you with us in spirit, cause you’re kind of far away, you know?
Of course we had to have a little snack first.
And a bit of a cleaning…
And some of us are impatient and ready to roll.
…. some of us are really, really special!
Now we’re making time… off to the woods we go.
Look dude… the new lovey dovey is the polar opposite of her mommy Ester.
Of course we had to do some tree climbing. Although I have to say if you have wings it’s not really climbing. Just sayin’

Some are better at it then others! It’s important to know your what your natural talents are.
It was a lovely hour, all nice and peaceful, with a hint of silly that only a walk in the woods with a tribe of chickens can provide. Best stress relief ever.
So there are your chickens pictures my friend. Semester is almost over, you’re almost done. There is light at the end of that tunnel.

Love, love, love, love these photos. Only wish there were one of you leading the flock. So do they think you are the super chicken mama?
Love this – Thanks so much for the chick pics!! Do you play a flute as you lead them off into the woods??
You’re chickens look so much more romantic than mine;) I want to take that walk in the woods with you and the tribe. Hopefully in the new year.
Lovely chickens-and MacKenzie. Where is McPhee? Umm….what do you intend to do with all these chickens that seem to be reproducing themselves? Are they all egg layers or are some(horrors!) destined for the pot? I LOVE free range chickens, but don’t know whether I’d want to eat a friend(lol).
Cheers and red wine, Hazel.
