Today, Shannon released the fourth pattern in our Big Ass Skein Society collaboration, and it uses the new Super WooBu LITE to great effect. Zamora is a top-down shawl, in 2 different sizes: smaller and larger. The larger is shown using Afternoon Delight and the smaller in a new color, A Speck of Autumn.
We’ve also got a bunch of fabulous new colors that have just hit the webstore:
One lone Shaded Solid: Royal Blue
And a whole gaggle of Multicolorways:
- Bubble Bliss
- Crazy Stupid Skein of LOVE
- Dancing in the Moonlight
- English Garden Memories
- Fall Frolic
- Feelin’ Good
- Galactic Broccoli
- Green Daze
- It’s a Supernatural thing!
- Light at the end of the Tunnel
- Lost Valley
- Pumpkin Patched
- Shabby Chic Oasis
- Splendor in the trees
- Tangled up in blues
- The Earl of Purl

We’re hoping the new pattern AND the new colorways will help us all get through the dog days of Summer AND get us all ready for Fall, the knitter’s season!
So much color! It was so interesting to work on our new fall colors last week. All I wanted to do was bright hues and the wilder the better. So I realize that these maybe not your more traditional fall hues but it is still the end of summer with all kinds of heat and sunny days so we’ll go with transitional fall hues. Which leaves the door open for more later which is always good!
I love all of these so much I would like a few weeks off just to play with them. Lucky for me I am about to embark on a road trip to take my youngest to college in Pennsylvania and there are three of us that are driving so…KNITTING time!!! Yay!!
NEWSLETTER Balls Are as Follows; On top – Chabby Chic Oasis, Far left- Fall Frolic, Far right- Its A Supernatural Thing!
I hope you enjoy knitting with these as much as I enjoyed creating them and naming them and photographing them and yes, we’ll just say it, loving them. Once in awhile when I do this new color way dance of mine, I am reminded of the first time I sold my yarn and colors. It felt a bit like I was putting my children out in the world. What if no one liked them? How would I feel? Did I want anyone else knitting them. Well I obviously got over that!! I love sharing them. It’s part of the joy of it all for me.
Which is interesting to think of this week as I prep to take my youngest off to college. Turning this precious soul over to the world at large. I do feel like my kids are my very best work!
On Monday you will be hearing from Shannon about the next installment of the Big Ass Skein Society. You are going to LOVE it!
So look out for that!
We also have a new yarn! It’s Woobu’s little sister. Super Woobu-LITE a light and lovely blend of super wash merino, bambu and nylon. It is the perfect summer knitting and wearing yarn. So light!
okay I have a lot more to say but my to do list for this trip is large and we are leaving tomorrow. yes I’m a little nervous!
Have a lovely weekend!
Good Monday afternoon!!! I had morning there but it took way longer to get this post up than I anticipated. Probably because it is Monday. hehe
I hope we all have good weekends. I spent the weekend completely immersed in color so I am a pretty happy camper.
We have brand new colorways coming your way at the end of the week. And yes some of them are our contest winners colorways!
I have to tell you a few of these were a little bit of a challenge for me but I think I did an okay job. I hope all the winners agree!
