Color explosion

So much color! It was so interesting to work on our new fall colors last week. All I wanted to do was bright hues and the wilder the better.  So I realize that these maybe not your more traditional fall hues but it is still the end of summer with all kinds of heat and sunny days so we’ll go with transitional fall hues. Which leaves the door open for more later which is always good!

I love all of these so much I would like a few weeks off just to play with them. Lucky for me I am about to embark on a road trip to take my youngest to college in Pennsylvania and there are three of us that are driving so…KNITTING time!!! Yay!!

NEWSLETTER Balls Are as Follows; On top – Chabby Chic Oasis, Far left- Fall Frolic, Far right- Its A Supernatural Thing!

I hope you enjoy knitting with these as much as I enjoyed creating them and naming them and photographing them and yes, we’ll just say it, loving them. Once in awhile when I do this new color way dance of mine, I am reminded of the first time I sold my yarn and colors. It felt a bit like I was putting my children out in the world. What if no one liked them? How would I feel? Did I want anyone else knitting them. Well I obviously got over that!! I love sharing them. It’s part of the joy of it all for me.

Which is interesting to think of this week as I prep to take my youngest off to college. Turning this precious soul over to the world at large.  I do feel like my kids are my very best work!
