New colors… and a few Fadients!

New colors are up!!!

And…not even all of them are yet.  I’ve got a few more that we will add in the next few weeks here and there.  I’m in one of those super inspired and creative places where it’s just pouring our of me. I have a few series I am working on, a collaboration with a fabric designer, special colors for special events and a few new techniques I am playing with.  I am having a blast!!

Okay so here are the new ones. They are mostly speckled or watercolor droplet type colorways. I am pretty smitten with a few of these but the ones that are making me so happy I can barely contain myself are additions to the Heckley Speckley theme!! I know!!!!!!!! So exciting.

I love Heckley Speckley as deep and obsessively as I do Pond Scum. It does tend towards the scummier side of color which is my happy place. So I decided to play more in this speckley scummy end of color. Also I get so very many requests for fades/gradients using my beloved scummy friend I decided what the heckley (lol)  I’ll just make one. So I did!!

 

 

 

 

 

From the dark end to the lighter end we have:  Smoke on the Water ~ Scumberry Pie ~ Heckle & Jeckle Heckley Speckley and Heckle the Jekyll!

And I could not love it more!!! Seriously possessed! I want to knit all the faded patterns out there in this one. What I think I will do though is knit Joji’s new KAL Fading Point. It’s big which means I can wrap myself up all cozy in Heckley Speckley scummy goodness.

I have also put together a few more fade groupings and am working a couple more. If you you have any fade withes let me know. We are calling them FADIENTS!

I also really like this one with Smoke on the Water as the darkest colorway!

You can order these groupings in any base you want for whatever fading you are planning on knitting by colorway. We are planning at some point in the near future to offer them as actual Fadient Kits but are still working on the specifics and the tech end for the website.
