Did you see the Chicken flavored trio  I put together?!! I am sooo in love with all of these colors. I think my favorite though is the egg colored yarn CHEEPer by the Dozen that looks like the eggs I collect from my lovely ladies everyday.

Anyway I am pretty happy with all three of these beauties and have been planning this little trio for awhile. Once I saw the JAM PDX ladies Yarn Chicken pin I knew it was the perfect time. And… it’s Spring so what better time for a EGG ~ Chicken color celebration.

I love this shawl and it’s perfect for three colors that have some contrast in hue. I can so see it on our Fowl Play Trio can’t you? It’s perfect!

I also notice a few other three color shawls that our trio would be great in.

If you crochet and I so wish I was not crochet challenged cause I would so make this beauty!!

Lost in Time by Johanna Lindahl

You know what I would really like to do? I would like to crochet a granny square blanket out of all of the chicken colors. I’m kind of possessed with this thought! Now I just need to learn to crochet granny squares. Sigh. It’s not like I have not tried because I have. Ask Amy Singer she is one of many who have tried to teach me.

Okay so let’s make some Fowl Play shawls my friends!!!

Speaking of chickens I need to go put the girls in the coop for the night.

Sweet dreams!
