and a race against the clock if I want it to truly be in this day. So here we go.
Today a box who dreamed of being a colourway got it’s wish.
My friend Shannon’s daughter Hazel celebrated her very first yr. on the planet gracing us with her loveliness. Here she is with her mom and grandmother at Twisted the magical yarn heaven Shannon owns with her partner in all things yarn Emily.
While there Shannon and I took pics of her test knit of our new pattern that is coming out real soon.
And who could resit taking a shot of the oh so lovely Star Athena in her cool socks and lovely scarf out of my Freckles STR. I promise to put links and all that in tomorrow morning.
All in all a pretty good day. Oh yeah!
Holy cow I almost forgot we got all the sock club packages and ready to waltz out the door tomorrow. Thanks Jen and Susan and Debbi and Joann and Paula and Rosebud and Anneli and Becky and Debra and Narayan and Candice and (I must be forgetting someone). Oh… of course Gail and Star and JC and well, the other two you will find out soon enough. I bet you thought I was going to slip up there didn’t ya?
ok nighty night dearest knitters. May all your dreams be warm and wooly.
That new colorway...call it “MINE” because that’s what it’s going to be. Love it!

Another Hazel! Who’d of thunk it? At 67, I have no personal acquaintance with a single Hazel. I seem to remember seeing a picture of a second baby Hazel at Sock Summit. I can’t believe the name is having a resurgence. Glad you had a happy day. Cheers and red wine, Hazel(the elder).

I just got the BEST e-mail ever from Shannon re: the Ribbed Monster… I’m so excited it’s about to fledge! (Cute photo from the back, btw.) Now I’ll have to shoot her an e-mail back to say Happy Hazel Day!

Is that sweater the one that is in your ad in the new Twist Collective? I saw that ad and immediately started trying to figure out what the sweater was, it looks awesome!

Hi Tina,
Happy Easter.
Question is there any way we can get the specs (sizes, yarn requirements, needles, gauge) ahead of time to be posted on Ravelry? Also can the pattern be downloadable? A lot of us are waiting anxiously for this pattern and would like to be able to put in our orders (budget for it) with the knowledge in hand.
Pretty please????????(Roger Rabbit Voice)
Thanx so much!
