It’s one minute away from being the 27th day of July. A day all of us ST’s have been working towards for quite awhile now. We’re packed. A big ol truck is sitting here filled with swag and every little thing we feel like we’ll need to make this all happen. Form the looks of it we think we’re going to need a lot. We’re excited, slightly scared and ready. We are ready. We are ready to set up and welcome our teachers,vendors, sponsors and all of you knitters. We have been talking about what we are looking forward to the most. What I am looking forward to the most is seeing all of friendly happy knitterly faces. That is my favourite part by far. The second might be the sheep.

Have a great time at Sock Summit - from one who wishes she could be there. Oh - and mentioning, in a rather off-handed way that there are new colours, when one of them is ZEIN, is a bit like saying you’re off to a meeting for the weekend and you think you’ll have a good time.
That weeping sound is my credit card.

Can’t get the coupon to work either. I suspect it’s because I’m on EDT and they’re just waking up in the PNW?

I loved it!! Could you tell? The eponymous Flash Mob song says it all. And I owe it all to you. There are not enough superlatives to describe how much I want to thank you, Tina, and the whole ST-1 and ST-2 teams for all the work and love that you put into making this an event to cherish for a lifetime. I’m almost glad that I didn’t get all my wait listed classes. I had just as much fun volunteering and meeting people. It’s going to be a long two years waiting for 2013 and I have no idea how you can top what you produced this July. Love you bunches.

What a wonderful time. Finally back home. I hope you and Harlot were able to wind down and process on the island. Fantastic 2nd home run! Thank you so much, ST1 and ST2 and all the volunteers. Great classes, people, knitting, shopping, listening!

Words just don’t seem to be enough to express the gratitude for creating such an amazing conference. I’m fortunate to have attended both SS09 and SS11. I can’t say which was the best or was my favourite because they both were spectactular in differnt ways. Hazel is right, the flash mob theme songs says it all. (what a hoot that was!)) Thanks to you Tina and Stephanie and all the ST2s and volunteers for making it such a fabulous event. thank you, thank you, thank you.
