I know, that by saying this out loud, I am inviting the chaos of the cosmos to rain it’s fury down blue moon’s way today. Nonetheless, here goes. We are on schedule (pause, wait for it… oooh is that thunder?) and today jb and I will be uploading images and info onto the site. This will take hours. (In reality we are having thunder storms today so who knows.)
So, while we are doing this anyone want to count the votes on the dudettes? hmmmm… you know you do.
Website uploading tunes to start...ooh, I know, The Commitments.
I will yell when we are done. Please wait to order until then. Combining orders in this system--not possible.
And I have a surprise. So if you do not peak it actually will be a surprise.

I counted - I can’t guarantee 100% that I’m right, and I caught a FEW duplicate posts that I didn’t count, but I’m not sure I caught them ALL.
I got 162 for Dudette #1, and 84 for Dudette #2.
There were also suggestions that just said both please and I didn’t count those either way.
They are BOTH gorgeous.

I got 163 for Dudette #1 and 85 for Dudette #2. I too didn’t didn’t count the ones that said both or either. And I didn’t count duplicate posts.
And by the way for verification purposes I did vote for Dudette 2… so I’m not trying to swing the vote

LOL Kristina!! We were so close, I’m sure one of us is right, LOL… I tried to go as fast as I could, and some people were pretty waffly so I counted whichever number they said LAST.
A lot of people did say they found both extremely beautiful and would love to see BOTH in the lineup, didn’t they?

Yes a lot of people did say they liked both of them… or they were hesitant to pick one over the other. But it also seemed like a lot of people who picked 2 said they would also purchase 1 if it won. I think our difference might be the post where the mom picked one color and her daughter picked the other… so I counted each of those votes.
I SUPPOSE I should get back to work.... (procrastination much??)
do you have a colour way that is called.......”.dump cold water on my head”..... oh, that was the surprise.

That is one of the walls of color there are several.
Seriously… I know you said it would be hours before you are done but I keep refreshing the page just hoping it’s time to shop. Seeing the wall of color is just making it worse. I can’t wait!!!! Bring it on!!

It takes awhile because I have to go through and check each and every color and then ask them to adjust and change and.... back and forth, back and forth
evidently i am just a wee bit picky!
A wee bit?!! hehehhe take your time..I’m pretty sure we’ll all be waiting!

I wait patiently as well, both for my ordered order and the new colors. As I look at that wall, I may be imagining this, but are those colors in alphabetical order starting with Banded Agate and so on down the line. My husband thinks it’s nuts that I can name colors without seeing the labels. I call it skill; since there are probably a bunch of us that can do the same thing. Goes to show you how well we study the colors you dye for us. I love a good surprise. Rock on Dudette #1.

we are sooooo not there yet!!
It’s nearly midnight here in London, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to do my shopping. I can’t wait to wake up to see the new colors! Tina, with the inevitable flood of new orders how long will the order processing time be over the next week or so?
probably a few more days than usual
I’ll know more after tomorrow and will post

thanks for the heads up about the delayed processing time.....between the constant checks on my order history and the F5’ing to check the current colorways......just saying......I’m tired and hungry, so I’ll check back later.
Oh, and if the vacationing colorways need a chaperone....please keep me in mind!

Thanks for posting about the shipping times when you have the chance. I will be visiting California next week and was hoping to have it shipped there, but would appreciate a heads up if that’s not possible and will just have to have it shipped here instead.

I would check back tomorrow. I was obviously way too cocky this morning and attracted just a bit of that chaos.

Does that mean you’re going to do something silly like… oh, I dunno… sleep? eat? look at something (anything!) other than a screen?

Hey Tina! OMG, *awesome* update thusfar. Like we had any doubts.
I’m trying to put Petroglyph in my cart, though, and it’s coming up as OmaDesala. (Which is, incidentally, *already* in my cart, because apparently, I have a little STR problem. Ahem. I can quit anytime. *twitch, twitch*)
And Alina and Jabberwocky don’t have pictures. Other than that, I think everything’s been working like a charm! Rock ON, no pun intended.
Okay, a little intended.

The new colors are looking washed out on my monitor, too. (What? Did you think I really wasn’t going to keep checking?)
On the other hand, some of the older colors appear a LOT brighter than they are in truth—for example, Firebird (and Rock Star) appears almost garish on my monitor (Mac/Firefox).
(now putting my laptop into my briefcase (dang, that sounds grown up!) and ignoring all updates until tomorrow!)
for JustJen—Dude, seriously? Rockstar? Carin made socks out of them that you can probably see *from space*.
The color’s pretty accurate on that one.
OK… Wednesday is my birthday, and my husband is letting me get yarn!!! Now, I think I’d better get some sleep so I can be rested when I put my order in tomorrow There are so many yummy yarns calling my name, and I want to give each of them their due time! Thank you!

Seriously. Rock Star *on my monitor* is so over-driven that the fuchsia strands lose definition and become a blur.
I’m only talking about yarns that I know/have/love and can compare reality with what appears on *my* monitor.
(no really! I’m packing up now! I mean it this time!)
It turns out I am not imagining things an they are a bit subdued. (subdude- you know who that is right?)
Ok anyway we are just going to continue uploading all the images and then will work on adjusting the colors to their true saturated selves.

Yep, colors are waaaaayyyyyyy washed out. I keep looking at the colors from Blue Moon site then going to Ravelry to see how they compare. (at least with old colors, not the new ones obviously) The pics on Blue Moon site look like a flash is blasting the heck out of the colors.
When on Ravelry group I couldn’t quite understand how everyone was saying the colors were just fantastic - yuck (now I REALLY know that they are obviously not yuck, how could they be from such an awesome color genius as yourself). I’m just glad to actually see a comment from you Tina letting us know the color’s all wacky.
I’m a very patient gal and can wait - take your time and get it right is what I say (okay I’m ready to be freaked out on now;).

And, yeap, like you said the colors aren’t quite true yet (at least Freckles and Gingerbread Dude are looking washed out). I doubt that’s stopping people from ordering!
And you mentioned a surprise?!
I did mention a surprise and it is coming. We are stalled a bit at the moment with the whole photo/color issue. there is more to put up so.....
Yep, I’m also seeing the new colors looking a little washed out here. They look lighter than the older colorways do. They look very pretty though—can’t wait to see the updated photos.
Also, thanks for bringing back Christmas Balls! I think I might have made a little hand motion of victory and said “yes” under my breath when I saw that go up. How embarrassing.

Is the surprize....the “Spirit” colors?? They are awsome. BTW I’m the one whe requested “Mist”, but I think “OmaDesala"or “Prove it all night” will work for the lighter shade of my Chevron Scarf. The colors are so lovely!
