Maryland Sheep and Wooll

I hope everyone has fun today! We sent lots and lots of yarn to Toni @ The Fold, so there should be plenty.  ( I know I always think this and it is almost never true).

I have not been to MDSW so do not have pics of Toni’s booth but do have a few from SS09 .  Here is Toni in all her glory.

Have fun everyone and Happy May Day.

Good luck, Toni!

Having seen the mega numbers of boxes in Toni’s shop before she left this week, anyone who takes the time to visit her booth will be in for a real treat. The new colors, as well as the Mill Ends and Rare Gems, are absolutely gorgeously fantastic.

We’re pulling for a fabulous weekend for all attendees and vendors.

Hi, I was at Sheep & Wool this afternoon & got 2 skeins of heavyweight in Corvid & Korppi. The booth was packed & your yarn was selling as fast as usual. I went specifically for the SOCKS THAT ROCK and got exactly what I wanted.

I was there in the afternoon as well and there was plenty still on the shelves.  I got 2 skeins Booby 1 and Booby 2.  Where did those names come from?  I bought them just for the names.  I also got the Traveling sweater pattern.

Must have missed the mill ends/rare gems - was hoping to snag some...perhaps they went early?  Treated myself to Boobie 1 and some Silkie instead smile Thanks for sending so much STR!!

I did not leave with any new boobies but I did pick up 3 lovely skeins of lightweight!  One of my only purchases at MDSW.  Stick with what you know and love, right?

I was at the MS&W;all weekend and did snag some Boobie 2 for my daughter’s friend who has never knit with STR.  She is going to love it!  Great to see Toni again, through the crowd.  As usual the line on saturday was long but at least it wasn’t raining, like last year.  could have been cooler, though.  Missed you, Tina.  Hope you make it one year soon!
