too soon for me! Not enough weekend and certainly, not enough play. I usually do not have a hard time with Mondays and that whole beginning of the work week thing. When you own the business and operate it mostly from home, work happens in all kinds of time. Not a traditional set up so not a traditional work-time frame.
Because of massive deadlines that my over active imagination gets me into and my over zealous optimism that believes I can accomplish quite a lot in any given day. Well… there is never enough time. So I am sitting here trying to find the positive about today being Monday. What is good about Monday?
hmmmm....
I know one thing. In 5 minutes Debra will show up and following her Becky and then Joann and Paula and Anneli and last and by no means least Rosebud. I have not seen these wonderful women in two days and miss them. They are part of my family and on Monday morning before we dive headfirst into things we catch up on the what we did and how we all are. It is quite lovely! Oh,oh, this reminds me this past Saturday, the 6th of September, marks three years that Debra has been here. I am so thankful that Debra waltzed her sweet self into my life. She is one of those grounded earthy people that is not afraid to work and will be there. She is fun and loving and I know that I can depend on her.
Well look at this a great reason to be happy about today--Monday. Ok, I am going out to the barn to say good morning and visit.
Have a great Monday!
Thank you, I needed that. Still trying to wake up.
Let’s trade jobs, yours sounds so much more invigorating. Or even better, just hire me for a year. A year of enjoying what you do for a living sounds like a divine gift.
Congratulations Debra! May you have many more happy work anniversaries. Enjoy that divine gift!

Happy Monday!! A fabulous group of people to work with is a great way to think about a Monday!
For me, I’ll look at it as only two more Mondays (after today) until I’m back up in Portland for Oregon Flock & Fiber!! Yippee!!

Congratulations Debra!
Mondays are happy ‘cause that’s when Leslie & I have our knitting lunch session.

Tina - That’s so wonderful for you all to share so much! Congrats Debra
I figure any Monday (or any day) I wake up on the right side of the Dirt is a good reason to get myself in gear. There is work to be done and yarn to buy and knit.
Happy Monday!!!!!

At least no matter how crazy work gets - you have the great joy of working with people you like and consider as family. *grin* Though since you are the boss - they may want to kick you in the shins when those deadlinse start piling up. Does the lure of discounted yarn take the sting out of those weeks? Or is it chocolate and cofee! Thank you for sharing all about Blue Moon Fiber Arts on this blog - love it. Happy knitting!

I just recently finished a pair of “Monkey” socks in Jingle Bell Rock. I was determined to have new Christmas socks *before* Christmas (unlike my last Christmas socks, which I finished on 12/27). Yay! They came out beautifully, and I can’t wait to wear them.
I made Monkey socks out of Little Bunny FooFoo last year and am now working on a pair for my mom out of Cracked Canyon. That pattern works really well with your colorways!

Happy Monday Tina, it’s the start day of week and business work. In the first day we miss something and also achieve things which can help in our business in the way of progress.
