or sharing the love? You decide. Below you will find two versions of Gingerbread Dudette. Long awaited companion for Gingerbread Dude. I keep my promises! He and I cannot choose between these two lovelies, they both are so sweet. Since we can only have one of them this go around, you get to choose. Which one would you like to see go up on the site on Monday (or Tuesday)? They are labeled 1 and 2. Put your vote in the comments. Then when the update is done you will see which Dudette is going to hang with the Dude this season.

I will be very interested to see how this plays out. The one I chose is completely out of character for me. Actually that is why there are two of them. The one I did first was really not my cup of tea, so I made another. ok, yarn ball in your court!

Dudette #1. Reasons: Has the same gingerbrowish tones a good gingerbread would have (can you smell it?) and mixed in just a few hints (green, pink, coral) of her girlish outfit (think frosting outlined clothing). Yummy

I love Dudette #1! I’m not a big pink fan so I like that the colours are a little more toned down from #2.

Then maybe Dudette 2 in the next (or next next) update? And maybe call it “Gingie,” to use the nickname of the one in the Shrek movie series? Just a thought.

Wow I love both but I think Dudette #2 is so suited to the Dude. She is very feminine and sassy, a total match. Either one is beautiful but I love #2!

I thought 1...until I saw 2. Definitely 2. The darker tones make it much richer and enticing...perfect for fall/winter!

I really like Dudette number 2 which is odd because it is so not me. I may have to order more of the Gingerbread Dude in the new update though. I love that color.

This was a real tough one. At first I thought I liked number 2, because the colors are not so boldly different, but then as I took a closer look I like the peach and chocolate tones of number 1 better than the pinks of 2.

Dudette 1. I prefer the orange-y pink, and the greater color variation. I would expect Dudette 2 to knit up mostly in brown and deep pink stripes, and I’m not particularly fond of color schemes limited to brown and pink together.

Dudette #1, in my mind. I like the way the colors seem to meld together. Dudette #2 colors are a bit too harsh.

hehehehe...have fun with this one! I say put them in a bag and just pick one out because I can’t decide. Maybe #1 is dudette, and #2 is lil’ gingerbread baby? Seriously I can’t decide but how awesome is dudedette going to be!!

I love both colorways, the first is more xmas like, with light pink. But I am a huge fan of Barbie pink, and have to cast my vote for Dudette #2

This is really tough! #1 called to me first, but #2 is really growing on me the more I look at it. So, I vote #2… I think. Or maybe #1… No, definitely #2....

I’m voting without looking at what others said because I had an immediate reaction - Dudette 1. One of the reasons I like Gingerbread Dude is because of the white - besides the fact I like the contrast, it fits with the name, fits with the season - generally all around good. #2 is just too pink for me and I would not buy it, whereas I would buy #1.
