Do you know what is new on the website? Today Monday January 12th. Do ya? We have new colorways, new patterns and new yarns. We also have a few returnees. I could post a list of all these for you here, but what fun would that be? Not so much, not for me anyway. I think it would be much more fun if we maybe had a CONTEST. So… let us have a contest. The first knitter to list all the; 1. new colorways 2. patterns 3. yarns 4. and the 2 return colorways, wins a skein of STR in each of the new colors. There will be 5 runners up that each win a skein of their choosing. These will be chosen based on time received and number correct. Put your guesses here in the comments. Please list them in one comment. I will announce the winners on Friday 3:00 pst. Ready Set GO!

Returnees January One & G Rocks welcome new arrival: Never on Sunday, who celebrated her first Winter Solstice with a Dragon Dance which was not at all Manly(but we liked it!), primarily because she was Bejewelled. While she is more likely to sport a diaper cover than a Tank Cover, Never on Sunday loves to make Silk Loops. And we love her through Thickie Thin.

1. The new colorways are: Bejewelled; Manly, but I like it too (how many young un’s will get this reference?); Never on Sunday; Winter Solstice, and Dragon Dance (for those not in the 2008 RSC)
2. patterns - Serendipity & the Seductive Tank Cover. I think you snuck in Salish Sea socks in earlier, but then I could be wrong & you snuck in the Seductive Tank Cover.

Boy did this make me think of new colorways I would like...and spend an inordinate amount on ravelry trying to see if my list of newbie colors was really a list of new ones! (if I only had a million dollars - sung with BNL - but I’d change the lyrics to say yarn and more yarn instead of Kraft dinners.)

Oh my...manly yes is just gorgeous!!! I like it too!!! And I already told you about that pretty winter solstice (see, all that snow inspired something?! okay, probably not funny...).
