Annetarsia!

I LOVE this book!!

I also love Anne but I swear that does not play into how I feel about this book and what Anne has done to Intarsia knitting! I’ll never forget the first time Anne showed me her Intarsia magic. We were sitting on the stairs at Madrona and she whipped out her knitting and excitedly explained in great detail what she was doing. My mind was blown! Once I wrapped my head around it that is. I had felt this way once before when Cat showed me her first new sock construction.  Mind bent so far from norm and then blown!

If you love color work of any kind Anne’s book is a must. Even if you don’t Annetarsia might be just what you were waiting for to make the color work leap.

Annetarsia is a well thought out and implemented book chocked full of information that is well charted and explained.  I was thinking we should do a Blue Moon knit-a-long but then I would have to pick just one of the fun designs Anne has come up with. Maybe we should do a knit-a-long where we just pick one they do not have to be all the same project and knit!  What do you think? You game.
