Interweave Fall Ad
The Fall Interweave ad has the following patterns and colorways in it. I am going from left by the spine to right.
1. Solstice Slip pattern in the Firebird colorway.
2. Knee High to a Grasshopper pattern in the Walking on the Wild Tide colorway.
3. Salish Sea Sock pattern in the Bella Coola colorway. (available December 2008)
4. Circle Socks pattern from the Fair Isling on Blue Moon book in two different Rare Gems colorways.
5. Serendipity pattern in the Dragon Dance colorway. (available January 2009)
6. Rock’n Weave pattern in then Fairgrounds colorway.
The colors in the ad are just a wee bit funky, not so true to form.

Did you go to Bella Coola? i stayed in Ocean Falls one time, near to Bella Coola. It’s the place where most everyone is a “grower” or a slacker. Met lots of Dads who ran away from their kids support payments. Lovely place, really.
Hey, Tina. I saw that ad, and I immediately thought, “Tina needs some beans.” If you want to take a photo of a sock standing upright on its own–not on a foot, not even a mannequin foot–fill the foot with dried beans. You can moosh them around into a close approximation of a foot. Fill the leg with something lighter–yarn scraps, maybe?
Oh, JC what makes you think there are not beans in there?
WOW! i never thought of beans before! my socks are always flat because i don’t
have a mannequin foot and it is too awkward trying to photograph your own feet.
so, tina, does this mean there ARE beans in them?
Sometimes they go to far with the photoshop. Either that IK needs to recalibrate their printers.
I still have to try this, but this is an interesting alternative to mannequin feet:

Not enough, in that case!
I love the picture. It was so unlike you that I almost missed it when I looked for your add. Good job and thanks for the info.
