Luck of the Irish
An Irish blessing for this St Patrick’s Day
An áit a bhuil do chroí is ann a thabharfas do chosa thú.
Your feet will bring you to where your heart is.
HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!
How about we celebrate by paying homage to our favourite shades of green. I’ll go first. I love all greens every single one, have not met a green I do not like. That said
my absolute green love is of the mossy, scummy kind. Like this…

I’m guess you are dying green today?
What a wonderful tune and a Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you. Thanks for all you do.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!! Wishing you rainbows of green!! xo
My favorite green -a soft sage green, but I like them all too.
The most amazing green I saw in the wild was a small meadow of huge clovers. The sunlight was being filtered through the fir and pine trees, giving the clovers an intense green cast like Crayola’s sea green. Magical.
My favorite green was the rich, vibrant green of the untamed portions of Oahu (Hawaii). Just being able to stand on a hilltop and look down into a valley of pure green heaven was absolutely wonderful.
Puhlease! Snot green. With a dash of murky pond scum.
Oh, me, too! I love those bright limey, yellowy, chartreusey greens! Especially paired with a dark aubergine purple.
my favorite green is the one of the tree buds on the first day they pop. it almost glows against the gray and brown tree trunks.
happy st paddys day!
British racing green-and preferably on a lovely, little sports car! Loden green is another favourite-the colour of my best purse. Most greens are great!
I have two favorites: The evergreen of the Blue Spruce tree and the icy, pale of a partially eaten and sucked out lime popsicle. (ewww…too vivid a picture??)
Caterpiller Gut Green would be a perfect colour for me this month.
My favorite green – sage, the spring color on the prairie.
Your new greens, especially Tumbleweed, is my current favorite green of yours.
Absolutely stunning photos of green! I love all greens too and could eat them for breakfast I love them so much! The Irish blessing really spoke to me. You have a way of cutting tot he heart of things, Tina!
The wonderful thing about all these greens, is that none of the colors we call green are one color. This is why handpainting is so wonderful. Tina gets to include all varieties of ‘green’ in her green skeins. Sometimes part of what we identify as ‘green’ is blue, brown, red, yellow, purple – the whole spectrum. I love it.
The new Irish girlie yarn is magnificent ! and beautiful too !!Like the comment of kniting 1 sock of each pattern. Clever girl. See you soon at camp
