Exporting goodwill/wool
As we all await the new coloursways to appear on the site*, I wanted to let you know of a few New Year’s hiccups we’ve experienced with online ordering for people outside of the United States.
Unbeknownst to us, the 2011 United States Postal Service rate changes made it so our online shopping cart didn’t play nicely with other countries. It let some international orders through, but not others. Very frustrating to yarn-seekers, our tech team and us in the barn. Thanks, USPS.
We’ve implemented three rounds of fixes and believe that everything has been resolved now. From our stateside tests and the new orders that are coming in, it’s all looking pretty good. (knock on wooden knitting needles!)
If you or any of your friends were unable to order recently, please give it another try and let us know if you’re experiencing any problems. You can always contact us by (email), by phone or through the site (click on Contact Us up in the right corner).
We’re truly sorry the website was preventing anyone from placing orders. As you can imagine, we’re pro-yarn trade, and anti-embargo.

I so love them all, but what I really like is the gold and black for me are called “steeler socks”. I believe I sawl some black and purple in the mix, I would call them “Raven socks” for my DH. Oh I hope some of these are going to be at the MDSWF. only 3 months and two weeks left! time to get my knitting on if I want to buy some more yarn.

it’s good to see such a high level of customer service from a company. Explaining that there was a problem offering your apologies and a solution shows to me at least. What a good company or to deal with. And as a webmaster of an e-commerce company myself my hat is off to you!

Wow! What a nightmare that must’ve been w/our lovely postal service.
It must be the change of weather ‘cause I’m totally lemming everything on the right side of the top pic when my tastes usually run more on the left side. LOL!

Because this has been bandied about elsewhere. Question on the colorway in the bottom left (skeined & re-skeined) of the top photo of the long view of the table, not the bottom photo – Sigur Ros or a different new colorway? Not On Blueberry Hill which is the bottom left of the bottom photo, correct?
