So many good things!!

Okay I have a whole bunch of goodness to share with you so I am just going to jump right in.

The Fall Twist Collective went live this week!!  Have you seen it? If you have not had a chance do yourself a favor and grab a refreshing beverage and sit down for a long perusal. We are lucky enough to have this classy and colorful hat and cowl set (Echinacea) designed  by none other than the ever so clever and talented Kate Gilbert herself. I was pretty tickled when she told me she was designing with our Cloud 9.

Also make sure not to miss Carrick, a cabled wonder by designer Kristin Eksuzian. A stunning statement of a sweater. I have to admit to being a little obsessed with that big cable.

Farmer’s Market MKAL last clue is out and and look aren’t they pretty??

I am so looking forward to seeing all of the color combo’s we came up as shawls instead of skeins!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I hope everyone posts their shawl pics to instagram.
So far my favorite is still the one with Apron Strings, Fruity Loopies and Spawn of Scum. which I am sure comes as no surprise to anyone. Thank you Shannon for such a fun MKAL!! You rock!

Such a light and graceful yarn. A fine two ply spun with luxurious Baby Alpaca and Cultivated Silk. I am not much of a lace knitter but this yarn makes me wish I was. I can just imagine how wonderful Lima Laci would not only look in a intricate lace pattern but also feel. 900 yds /4.25oz @ 29.00 We have a very limited amount so get it while you can!

Okay now for the queen of the yarn ball!! Meet my new yarn crush!!!

Crackpaca!!!

45% Baby Alpaca / 45% Super Duper Fine Merino / 10 % Cultivated Silk

Now, I am not the biggest alpaca fan on planet. Which up until now is why Blue Moon had only offered one Alpaca blend yarn, our Peru. I do love our Peru. I love it because it is a good blend which I firmly believe is the magic for a good alpaca yarn. Well, the same folks that created our Peru have come up with a yarn that I seriously wanted to just call Crack, it is that wonderful… so after much hemming and hawing and a little input on instagram I’ve settled on Crackpaca! Because this is most definitely crack for knitters luckily there are no harmful side effects and as far as I know it is legal!

It’s equal parts baby alpaca and a superfine merino and this is what I think makes it so wonderful. The superfine aspect of the merino enhances the baby alpaca by adding in elasticity and buoyancy without taking away that ultra softness that we love alpaca for.

If that were not enough, let’s just add in a little cultivated silk to the mix – just enough for a little sheen and strength. And…because we can, let’s ply it a little tighter than we normally do on this type of yarn and make it a 2 ply. Can you see in the picture how it looks like little alpaca pearls.

So soft and light and buoyant.

When it waltzed in the door, I wanted to take all of the skeins and make a bed with them and then climb in. I still might.

I am super excited about a whole bunch of the yarns we have added to our line up in the past year and Crackpaca is definitely at the very top of that list.
We have it priced at $27.00 for the next little bit as an introductory, “Oh my goodness, you have to have this yarn” special.

When ordering please keep in mind that alpaca takes dye a little light than most fibers! That said, all three of the fibers in this blend take the dye differently giving us a bit of a subtle heather effect throughout. I didn’t really notice it until I started knitting with it.

Sigh! After I finish this post I have to go out in the over 90 degree heat and dye ( hehe) and all I want to do is sit someplace air conditioned and knit my lovely crackpaca!!

One more thing I would like to touch on before I go is the Fall Sweater Challenge that the lovely folks at  The Buffalo Wool Co thought up. It’s basically a community knit-a-long involving designers, local yarns stores and yarn companies having some grand ol’ knit fun! There’s a few rules, points!!, prizes and discounts and all kinds of designs and in the end sweaters so really a big win!

We are one of the sponsors and quite honestly are still working out the details on our end. We are seeing which of our LYS’s wants to join in the fun and decided on designs and KALS and yarns and prizes.

So…stay tuned for sure. If you have any ideas of feedback for designs or yarns please let me know tina@bluemoonfiberarts.com. I will have more info next week so we can start our sweater adventure. You know what? It could be a Crackpaca sweater!!!!!!!!  Be still my heart.

Okay I am off to the barn to dye some speckley sparkley yarn!

Have a great weekend!

End of Summer Sparkle and Delirium!

The yarn arrived! The sock club has shipped!! And…we are just about caught up on everything that this yarn shipping delay fiasco cost us and just in time fore heat wave. Holy moly it is not a good day to be a dyer today. So very hot!!!!

Just about the whole team arrived this am at 6:00. While for a few of us that is our regular start of the dye day,  to the rest of team blue moon it brought home the meaning of the crack of dawn. We compensated for this with cake for breakfast!!  On the upside it does mean we get to stop at 2:0o today and not steam set yarn when it is over 90 degree weather. Actually we could probably just lay it out in the sun and be good to go.

As you can see in the very bright header above, Shannon and I are hosting another KAL!! A super, sparkley, speckley, sock-anklet  knit-a-long no less. I know…we’ve been overcome by the speckle on the sparkle. I will stop, but please know, I could go on and on and on with the whole speckle~sparkle word play.

You can read all out the details in the post above. I can’t wait to see all kinds of sparkley speckled anklets walking around. I really want to knit a pair in Heckley Speckley because I have a bit of a colorway crush going for it but Shannon has beat me to the punch on that one. Instead I think I am going to try a getting a little Intro-Specktive.  ;0)

Or I will throw caution to the wind and Heckle Speckle to my heart content.

See?? It’s a skein of beauty!

I have another color love affair going on right now too.

Meet Delirium!

IMG_3096 (1)

Delirium is a magical mercurial character and the youngest of the seven Endless from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman Series.  I love her!!  She was born Delight and later transformed into Delirium. How poetic is that?! She is a colorful changeling with a prophetic tendency that often comes too late. She’ s a little scattered often dropping and later picking up the threads of a conversation. Her observations on life are seriously entertaining, offbeat and often inconsequential. She is a force unto herself and most of the Endless are fond of her and she them. She has a bit of a thing for Destruction which makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

I was asked earlier this year to come up with a colorway inspired by a graphic novel. I was pretty thrilled with this color inspiration. Of course I chose Sandman!  I decided to do a colorway based on Delirium for them. I was so possessed by creating Delirium that keeping with her changeling essence I made a few incarnations. The one I sent to JBW, I called, A Little Delirium which is a paler version of our Delirium. I am also in the process fine tuning one that is Delight before she was became her more delirious self. And yes, I do believe I am on my way to creating all of the Endless ones.

Right now our lovely friend Shannon is knitting a Wonder Shawl out of it and Solstice.

So pretty! Can’t wait until she gets to the lacy part. Hurry up Shannon!

Okay I have got to make a run to the PO with the afternoon mailing before it is too late.

summer yarns, knits and color

I have spent a good part of the week really getting to know our new colorways.  I have been typing them up into the magic Blue Moon colorway recipe database. After they are all filed in their appropriate color category folders I print off a copy for each of the dyers and then, I teach them how to dye it. I also tag a sample of each one for our sample wall. I also photograph them for the website and anything else I feel is needed. It’s a lot so I know them real well when I am done. I have to tell you I am pretty thrilled with this last batch of hues. So much so that all I want to do is sit on the back deck with a refreshing beverage and knit each and everyone of them. I mean really I should cause then there would be a swatch sample! It’s my job! I have to knit them all.

Well… it is my plan to get some knitting time in this weekend so we will see how well that goes. Both of my girls head back to school this month. Sophie leaves on Tuesday which is way too soon and Rabia leaves at the end of August for grad school at Columbia. Exciting!!! Lots of change for the Newton clan.

I will be an empty nest mom for the first time ever. I firmly believe that this means I will get a ton more done. I am a little worried that this a delusion. I already have visitors lined up well into November. So…as I said we will see!

The opening ceremony for the Summer Olympics is today! Yay!! This also means the Ravellenics is under way also.  I hope all goes well for everyone participating and we all meet our goals.  I love the Opening Ceremonies!!

IMG_2993

As I said last week this summer has gotten away from me so all of this was here before I realized it. I still made a colorway cause I’ve had this one in my head fro awhile now. I am calling it Rings of Glory based on the Olympic Rings.  It has stripes of colors that mimic the rings and some speckles too, cause why not!

We have dyed some in the three yarns we have on sale right now so if you order those we can get them out to you asap!!

Yes we have not one or even two but three yarns on special right now!

We still are running the LaGrande short run special which is quite the deal. 15.00 for a  lovely 3-ply super soft 100% Merino (superwashed). I’m a little sad that this is a short run I like it so much. Which you have probably noticed since I keep saying this is the last week and then here we are.

We have marked down both Seduction and Super Woobu-LITE  both of which are excellent summery yarns. Light and lofty with nice drape! One of my favorite pairs of summertime socks is a pair of Pond Scum footies out of Seduction. They wear well, are super cozy and not too hot!

Oh and Speaking of light and airy yarns have you seen this lovely design from Nona Davenport. Nona and her mom Leslie own All Wound Up in Edmonds Washington.

Foxy Ladies Wrap in our Woobu in the colorway Aquarius. Nona designed this pattern for All Wound Up Yarn shop’s first anniversary. I like this wrap because it plays with the color and yarn well and it features an easy to memorize lace pattern which is knit on the bias, giving it a fun and interesting trapezoidal shape. And really who does not enjoy a knit trapezoid!

So pretty!!!

As are these super fun socks!!!

Lion Tamers by designed by Rebecca Williamson

Don’t these look like a fun knit?!! Okay so who can guess the colorways she used? I love this color combo quite a bit, they highlight each other well.

Rebecca has offered a copy of the pattern to the first person who guesses the thwo colorways she used. Thank you Rebecca!!

Dye Camp

I have added two more Dye Camp Sessions!!! So what was a summer Camp is now just a Camp. If there is anything dye/colorwise you would like to see me offer please do let me know.  I think the next one I add will be lichen dyeing and then maybe some fabric printing. Great fun!

So Shannon and I are missing each other which means we need another KAL!!

Well, we’re doing it again – the two of us are teaming up for a great late-summer knitstravaganza, and this one is perfect for those in-between-other-projects knitting moments we all have. OR for that oh-my-I-can’t-think-about-anything-except-this-project weeks. However you want to do it, please join us for the…

SPECKLY SPARKLY ANKLE-Y SOCK-Y KNITALONG!

Blue Moon will be offering a 10% discount on Super Sparkle, starting on the 9th of August, in any colorway ~ we are partial to ALL OF THE SPECKLES right now, but any colorway works for this promotion ~ so you can make yourself a pair (or three!) of ankle socks for the fall!

Stay tuned for more details on how this is all going to work on Monday August 8th!! Check our Shannon’s Rav page for details on Monday!

okay that is a whole lot for one blog post!

I hope you all have a lovey weekend full of the things that make you happy!

New Colorways are LIVE!!!

Our new colorways are all up on the website as I type this. There are 15 of them total. Some of them are BeSpeckled and some are Multicolors. I am feeling really inspired right now so I have quite a few more coming but my lovely  production dyer team request that they do not have to learn 20 new recipes all at once so… . It is a lot!

I have to say I am experiencing a fair amount of love for some of these.I am so tickled with Heckley Speckley that I can barely contain myself. It’s a little Antiquated System meets Sea Scum Run for a brew with a splash of Spicy Plum. I knew as soon as I sprinkled the dye powder on it that It was going to be one of my top 10 color loves. I will need you to keep this a secret between you and me so the other colorways don’t get jealous. The last thing I need is a hues hurt feelings causing tension in the barn.

One of the other new colorways I made this past weekend in Blue Moon’s very first Dye Camp Session. We made great colors together and had all kinds of fun. I was a little nervous since it has been awhile so was happy that the class was just the perfect size and group for getting my hands back in to the teaching  dye cauldron. Intro-Speck (Thank you Linda for the great name!)  I made by showing layering color and saturation techniques. I knew as soon as I was done that this had to be a colorway, they all agreed! So here they are.

Not too shabby eh? Do you see the Flamingo Feet there?? I found this picture of Flamingo feet (and legs too) and was smitten so of course it had to be a colorway. Check out my instagram feed to see them together. I even put little black dots for their black toenails. Some days my job is just way too much fun.

Oh…I almost forgot then there is Tourmaline SunAngel that is all kinds of wonderful but most especially so on Single Silk Targhee and Featherlight and Sparkle. Oh my on Sparkle it’s to dye for!

IMG_4952 (1)

Okay…I’ll stop. I need to get this up so I can get out to the barn to help dye now that the sock yarn is showing up.

Orders Update: yeah so one of our shipments of lightweight that we were expecting to fill orders and dye for sock club did not show up. Yeah the mill lost the order or something they can’t really explain. Yeah slightly stressful. Anyway it is showing up now and we are dyeing out little hearts out!! We are sorry for the delay! I am planning on working all weekend to play catch up. We  appreciate your patience and understanding. Also why does this kind of thing always happen in the middle of a sale??

A little secret….because it has been crazy busy with this mill thing. I have not had a chance to change our yarn and roving specials. So they are still on special and will be at least for this weekend. Enjoy!

Shhh…. don’t tell the boss.

Okay off to dye massive amounts of sock yarn!!!

Stay cool!!

Have a fabulous weekend.

New color!!!!

I am making all kinds of new colorways. Seriously inspired by the world around me and feeling the need to translate that into color on yarn.

See the name on the yarn tags?? ~ Tourmaline SunAngel ~  I think this might just be the best colorway name I ever heard! It’s a hummingbird name. Our Kalia found it. I am heavy in love with this colorway!

It’s been a bit of a week which makes it hard to carve out creative time. When one is stressed and problem solving it is hard to make the space you need to feel inspired and to listen to your creative voice. Lucky for me that I am an early bird and we all know what the early bird gets. Yup a big fat juicy worm of creativity. Okay that’s kind of gross but you know what I mean.

Let’s move  away from worms and back to color We are going to be adding new colorways next week. So that means some colorways that have been offered for awhile need to go to the spa for a rest. No worries they do not go away forever just for a little bit.

Below is a lost of the ones that will be coming down next week.

We have a few Pokeman peeps among team Blue Moon so we are going to have a few Poke hues! Here is our first one.

IMG_4951 (1)

PokExplosion!!  Sarah ( our in house expert) insisted we needed a red, black and white so I added a little bit of a pikachu sprinkle on the white part.

I love it! Sarah says to please do as she asked and make the red, black and white one.

So my knitterly friends if you are poke obsessed and have any suggestions let me know! You can use the comments section of this post.

The new Star Trek movie is out so I am working on some trekkie hues.

I am teaching our first camp session tomorrow and am pretty excited!! There is still room if you want to join us. The other camp sessions are full and or filling fast. I might ad a few in October if you have something you’d like to see me offer let me know.

Our roving sale is still going on! The Merino/Yak is correctly priced now!!

Fruity Loopies on roving is all kinds of fun!

And… the Speckles….so cool!

Here are the roving specials with a bit of a twist for this weekend only. If you order this weekend we will add to your order a 15 gram bundle of silk hankies dyed per your request. Just tell us the colorway you want in the notes section of your order and we will dye you a bundle and ship it with your roving!IMG_4974

Also Special this weekend is our super duper luxurious Worthy Sport. I know!! Now we really do not have a lot of this so if you want it jump! Usually it is 64.00 a skein. We have done a switch on the numbers and made it 46.00. I wore a cowl out of our Worthy all during chemo and it was the softest most comforting thing!

Our Single Silk Targhee also on special for one more week!  I know I said one week but it just looks so pretty hanging from the rafters and you are all picking such pretty colors. This will be our last special pricing on this yarn since it is going into our LYS offerings.

Evidently having the barn sale and such in June threw some of you off. We do usually have it is August . It just worked better in June this year. Since some of you missed the sale I scrounged up a few more Mystery Mill End bags and they are up on the site this weekend also. I even marked them down a little more. We are trying to get the barn clean and organized for the upcoming season and for classes!

How are you doing on your knit-a-longs. I’ve seen some really pretty combo’s on the Farmer’s Market Shawl.

Cast on for Karen’s Letting the Light In!! started this week!!! Yay

Have a lovely weekend!

It’s cool and wet here but I think that is suppose to change.

It is yet another stunningly beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest! Just the right amount of sunshine, with a bit of a breeze. The kind of sunny days that you want to be walking in the park or hiking on the mountain or kayaking in the river or beach-combing or sitting on your back deck with a cup as the hummingbirds zoom by my head and the chickens serenade, writing a blog post!

As much as I love you guys, I do wish I was beach combing right now.

As promised the Color Story and the Gradients are now offered in our Featherlight single fingering-weight goodness!! I will be adding all kinds of gradient choices here. I feel like this is a really good start! I will tell you gradients are quite the time consuming process. Luckily they are also fun!

Okay well I was going to talk a little bit about the dye classes I planning for this summer but I am running out of time. I will be putting up a schedule and more info next week on what I have been thinking of as Summer Color Camp or Come Dye with Me!!! If there is something you would like to play at with dye and color let me know in the comments section here.

Have a great weekend!

I will leave you with a cool shot of dye specks!

It’s my BIRTHDAY and I’ll dye what I want to….

dye what I want too….

dye what I want too…!

It’s my birthday this weekend and I feel the need for an all out celebration of life this year  mostly because I am still here to have a birthday.  Also because I am turning 59 and well…it all feels significant!

So we are going to have some fun!

Before we get going with all the birthday fun and games I want to say, I AM SO GRATEFUL to be here!  Thank you powers that be! Thank you dear friends and family and thank you wonderful knitting family! I am truly blessed.

*************

Hello 59, I am so flippin’ glad to see you!

IMG_2107

Okay let’s party!

We are going to celebrate all week long from this Friday to next because I can’t contain all of this joy into one day or even a three day weekend.

Of course, right off the bat, I made a special colorway to celebrate the moment, since it’s kind of what I do. I made super special birthday speckles.

See…

IMG_2085

I started with my best color friend pond scum and made little drops of scummy goodness all over the place, then I grabbed some sassy rhodamine to spice the pond up a little bit and then, worked out from there with whatever struck my twisted little color loving fancy. I wanted it to feel like a ~ party in a skein ~ and I think it does. I am going to cast on some birthday socks sometime this weekend.

In keeping with the “It’s my birthday and I’ll dye what I want to” theme, we have put up on the Blue Moon website for this week only, most of my very, very favorite colorways. I will tell you it was hard to choose and I know I probably hurt a hue or two’s feelings by leaving them out but there are only so many dyeing hours in the day.

Maybe our first contest should be what do you think my top ten favorite colorways are? hmm… I’ll think on that while I tell you what else we have planned.

See these beauties???

I have brought in another of the short run yarns I promised this year, specially priced for your knitting pleasure.  This one is a lovely superfine, superwash merino. La Grande is seriously soft and lofty. I can see this yarn in so many applications from scarves to sweaters but most especially baby knitting!! So, so soft!  We got quite the deal on this one and of course are passing that price on to you at 15.00 a skein!

What’s a birthday without presents? Starting right this very moment there will be a give away of some sort everyday until (and including)  Friday June 3rd. So stay tuned for ~ Birthday Give Away Shenanigans ~ which will range from easy-peasy to hoop-jumping-hard.

Today we are gong to start off on the easy-peasy side of the spectrum which also just happens to be one of my  one of my favorites.

In the comment section of this post please tell me what you favorite color is and why.  It does not have to be a lot of information, it can be as simple as how you feel you look in it or how it makes you feel to be surrounded by it or it is the color of your favorite flower.  I will choose one of your comments and you will win 2 of my fav, fun coloring books!!

I am in the dye barn a whole lot right now working on all kinds of color fun!  I am going to post this and head right back out to the barn to do some grading. So much fun!!!!

Have a great weekend my dear knitters. my youngest is coming home from college on Saturday for the summer so I am pretty excited for this weekend.

Enjoy!

and the winners are…

I start my day early usually a little before 5 am.  I know… sometimes it’s a little brutal ~ like today.  I am a morning person so most days it works for me.

However today was a little rough.  Out of bed I got myself, straight to the coffee pot and out to the barn to prep for the days dyeing. While I was waiting for the tubs and sinks to fill with wool washing and soaking water I decided to console myself with a little color. I am a huge Prince fan and his death yesterday left me reeling a bit.

So I broke out the dye and a few skeins of yarn and did a little grief dyeing.

We have yarn bases and roving you can purchase to dye and we will be on hand to guide you in your dye journey for the day. You’ll hand-paint and also have access to an indigo vat for dipping and any other color fun we can cook up. We have a wicked new drum carder, so if you are a spinner you can make yourself a batt or two. .

In order to accommodate everyone in a way that assures the most positive experience for us all, we take reservations for the dye aspect of our day. The reservations are $15.00 which holds your spot and goes toward the cost of the day. Each time slot is 2 hours long, a good amount of time for a hand-painting experience. We will be there to give you the basics and to hold your hand as you bring your color vision to life on yarn (or roving). If you feel like you need more than two hours for your hand-painting experience please do sign up for more than one slot.

There are 4 time slots on Saturday June 11th:  9:00am to 11:00am, 11:00am to 1:00pm, 1:30pm to 3:30pm and the last slot is 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Please arrive early to pick out what you want to dye. Those of you with the 9:00 am slot can come at 8:30 to pick your yarn.

If you are coming just for the Barn Sale you do not need reservations. However, yarn leaves here pretty fast so come early!

BARN SALE hours are 9:00 to 5:00 on Saturday June 11th @ the big red barn in the land of Blue Moon 56587 Mollenhour Rd. Scappoose 97056

We will post directions on the blog the week before the sale.

The next 3 offerings of the Rockin’ whorl Club are LIVE!!  As I mentioned last week we will be blending our little spinning hearts out.  You can read all about the details on the spinning club page of the website. You will see that one of the offerings is batts!! One can’t really explore blending without considering batts!  Just a heads up we will be limiting sign-ups because of the making of the batts. We are going to have so much fun!

Okay so now without further ado the winners of our sweet story contest.  Choosing these is always hard for me but this time even more so because some of the colorways would look the same because of all the berry pie/cobbler stories. Obviously we all have similar pie memories and loves!

Thank you all so very much for sharing your stories with us all. I loved each and every one!!

1. LeAnn for her Blackberry Birthday

2. liselov for a great story and seriously for an obviously great love for your husband and he for you! Also cause I really want to make a frozen flower filled ice colorway and… maybe a broccoli crispie treats colorway.

3. janewolfe for her first date Baskin Robbins, Jamoca Almond Fudge story.

4. Meglette for her Chukar Cherry Cheescake story. I have a weakness for cheesecake and seriously want a slice ( or two) of this one!

Please email paula@bluemoonfiberarts.com for your prize skein once I get these colorways created. Should be about 2 weeks.

I think that cover things for now! We have gotten all of your  Featherlight and Super Sparkle yarn dyed and most if it shipped out. In hind-sight I so wish I had called this yarn BLING! And yes, I am possessed by the sparkle. If you were in the barn with it all hanging around you, you would so understand.

Have a lovely weekend!

A few new things that are exciting!

Happy Friday!!!

We have a few new and exciting yarns and color type goodness that I hope make your Friday even happier!

New Yarns!! Wouldn’t be great if every time we had a new yarn we had a yarn party?!

Let me introduce you to our two new fingering-weight yarns, Featherlight and Super Sparkle!

Aren’t they pretty!

I have to say I am not usually one for sparkley bits in my knitting but I find the silver lurex in our Super Sparkle intriguing on a few levels. I am easily amused and maybe slightly color obsessed so it is just all kinds of fun to see my colorways with the added silver sparkle. It will never get old!

I love that the lurex is plied into the yarn so it does not really affect the over all feel of the yarn, it just gives it that little extra added something. My grandmother would’ve called it pizzazz. I think pizzazz describes it perfectly! Hmm…maybe should’ve names it pizzazz. Well dang!

Super Sparkle’s woolly bits are superwash merino spun with a fair amount of elasticity! Which makes it good for just about any knitting you so desire. We have knit it both tight enough for socks and loose enough for lace and it handles both like a yarn super star. Just enough elasticity for the tighter gauge we want for socks, hats or mittens while also having some draping qualities that we wants for open work.

And if that weren’t enough yarn goodness for one day in waltzes, oh wait… floats Featherlight, our new fingering-weight single.  I have been looking for a really nice fingering-weight single for awhile now and am pretty picky about the qualities I feel like it should possess.  One of those was that I really, really, really wanted it to be Targhee wool  (yes I do have a Targhee problem) and not merino. I was going to hold out for the Targhee but this yarn ~ this yarn, is seriously wonderful. I have fallen for it pretty hard, so here we are.  Please do not tell Targhee on me.

I feel like a really good single has to have just the right amount of spin on it to keep it’s integrity during, processing, dyeing, knitting and then wearing while also having loftiness. As it’s name suggests, Featherlight is so very light. So lofty! So far it has passed all of our integrity tests while retaining it’s uplifting qualities. We are pretty thrilled. I got to be the test knitter and I have to say knitting with Featherlight is a super dreamy experience

We are so very excited about these two beauties that we decided to offer them for a very short window of time at a ~ Share the woolly goodness love introductory price!!!! Yay!

Both of these yarn will retail around 24.00. So it’s quite the deal and will only last a week or so don’t miss out!

I guess this is kind of a yarn party!!

I have finally put together some more Color Stories Color-work bags to add to all of this knit happiness.  I love putting these together and will be adding more in as I am inspired to do so. Next there will be some gradients. If there is ever anything you want to see in these color combo kits, color-wise or theme related then please do let me know.

It’s been a busy week!

We just shipped the March Rockin” Sock Club shipment. So next week we will shutting down sign-ups. If you still want in now is your last chance for all of the sock knitting goodness we have planned for 2016.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Happy Knitting!
